She always used to tell you she didn't wanted to confuse you.
You were at home the first time you saw her, looking at some photos a friend had taken and you asked who that girl was. She was beautiful, long black hair with those big eyes and a beautiful smile; it was like if she was made for you. You asked your friend for her email, and after a proper negotiation you got it and promptly added her waiting for her to get online.
It didn't went along so good at first, she was nice to you but in a distant kind of way. It had been about a month since you first talked to her when you started talking about music, she told you she liked cold play and you made fun of her. A little friendship had started and it would grow a lot in the next days.
The night you met her you were late, she had been standing there for a couple of minutes outside a bar, and as you got closer she turned her head and stared at you. You had seen her several times on photos before, but nothing could be compared to what she looked alike that night, right there, waiting for you. She smiled and hugged you, as if you were old time friends but what surprised you the most was the fact that it felt right.
You became her friend and earned her trust, she told you about her problems with her boyfriend and that they were going to split, and how her father had went away when she was a little girl and had made a new family. She hated when she had to eat with him, it was only a couple of times a month, but she hated it anyway.
The night you told her how you felt for her you felt dizzy. You were outside her place and it was late, five minutes past the time her mom told you to get her home. It was a hot night but you felt how your spine chilled every time you looked at her eyes and every time you were about to drop the words your stomach twitched as if you were about to throw up and when you finally looked at her in the eyes and told her it was like if time had stopped. You wished she felt the same way, but you were prepared to hear the negative on her side. She just stood there and smiled at you, and then she hugged you, as she told you she felt something for you too.
You used to hang out with her at your place, lying on your bed while watching movies or listening to the music on your computer. You laughed sometimes at the random music that got played for you two. Other times you would hug her and she would get closer to you to the point you could feel her breathing heavily and your noses touched. You wanted to kiss her, and you could tell she wanted to do it too, but you were afraid. She made you feel like it was all good, and like nothing could go wrong, it just felt so natural. You took the chance and reached for her lips, she didn't move buy you could feel how she started to breathe faster. When your lips touched she pulled your body closer to her and gave you a warm kiss. You could feel her heart beating and felt so happy you never wanted the moment to stop, but as all good things, it had to come to an end.
She asked for a break some weeks after. Something had changed and you knew it but you couldn't do anything. She started talking to you about a new friend, and told you about such great times they had been having. It had been a week since the last time you saw her when you noticed she didn't called you anymore, she wouldn't even bother to reply to your text messages. It was that day that you realized you had lost her.
You started to rebuild your life as it was before you met her. You called your old friends and went partying with them, but every time you were having a good time you remembered her, and wished she was there with you.
You hate having to fight with yourself to stop you from calling her, because you know she probably is with him and you just want her to be happy.
You still talk to her sometimes though, you ask her how she is doing and when she asks you, you tell her everything it's alright.
