Vegetarian.
My car has leather interior with sheepskin covers. Did I mention I have about 4 pairs of leather shoes. I have 5 leather belts. I have a several leather jackets, varying in style and length. I also use wallpaper made out of dead puppies, kittuns, and aborted fetuses.
Did I mention that my shampoo was personally tested on people?

Cows and pigs are grown to be killed and their bodies used. It's driven simply by profit. It's a business being run and the product is food and clothing at the expense of teh animals' lives. If no one drank milk or ate meat or wore leather, there'd be a lot fewer animals being raised for the purpose and so there'd eventually be a sharp decline in the number of cows and pigs being killed.
Dogs bred to fight or bulls in a bullring are no different. It's a business being run and the product is entertainment at the expense of the animals' lives. Like a pimp, Vick was providing a service for which there is an existing demand.
All his dogs are going to be killed because they are too dangerous. It can be argued that in Vick's world the manner of the animal's death is more cruel, but the end result is the same. Lethal injection or torn to shreds by another dog - dead is dead.
The only way to keep this kind of stuff from happening is to convince people not to want to see it, meaning of course that you can't stop it from happening.
Disclaimer: I'm not a bullfight or dogfight fan; don't watch 'em, don't bet on 'em, don't want to know where they occur. Not going to tell you not to participate if you want to, though.

I normally like your posts, but disagree here.
The animals you mentioned - the animals we eat - are raised for slaughter to provide food.
The leather in our cars - a byproduct of some animals we eat. See # 1.
The animals we hunt - are in their natural habitat and have a fighting chance.
This is different. Human beings have domesticated dogs for so long that if, turned back into the wild, dogs would have a hard time surviving. They depend on us for food, shelter, medication, and affection.
It has been said that MV was raised around dogfighting, and thus his upbringing clouded his judgement. How many out there were raised with parents and grandparents that used the words nigger, wop, spook, chink, and wetback? That doesn't make it right.
This is morbid. Ron Mexico needs to go to prison. At the very least, his probation should include a mandatory sentence wherein he is forced to spend time weekly in an animal shelter - cleaning cages and bathing animals - to see what really goes on there.

Sorry, man, but...
1. Killing animals to eat them = sustinence
2. Killing animals to make products from their hides = clothing = warmth
The others (animal testing, leather sofas, etc) I do not and never have agreed with. But...
3. Starving and abusing two animals so they're desperate enough to kill one another while you sit back and watch for kicks (and possibly cash), then killing the ones that are "unsuitable" in various violent ways = asshole
No two bones about that one.
