time for my second review.
This time im reviewing Mark Cubans move to fire Mavs coach Avery Johnson.
It was a stupid move.
Avery Johnson has possibly been the best coach that the mavs have ever had, he took them to the playoffs an impressive four times and has had a very solid run during each regular season (winning around 75% of their games) and a fairly decent playoff run (winning around 50% of their playoff games). He has won coach of the year and has been working with a pretty shitty roster. not to say that the players arent good, theyre just not a good team. Mark cuban has really dug himself a hole this time. If Cuban wanted to turn things around he should be looking at younger more explosive players instead of a new coach.

Nah, Herpes, that's what happens when your team doesn't have a good closer. You need *someone* to be clutch, or at least someone who can make good decisions end-game, and the Mavs have never had that.
Same reason why the Suns never won, and never will win a championship with the squad they have.

Avery's window has come and gone.
He'll never have a team with as much talent as he did a couple years ago, and he couldn't take the championship. It was the Mav's series to lose... and that's exactly what they did.
When you give a coach teams like the 05-08 mavs... you can't be happy with one finals appearance, and two first-round playoff failures. It is unacceptable.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on Uber who actually watches basketball.
And you're shit out of luck with me, too, as I couldn't give a shit about the Mavericks. Although watching them get bounced in the first round two years in a row has been entertaining.
