That Beatles Yesterday and Today Album is dead rare, I had one haning in my house till a while back. Sold if for 400 nicker.
Commonly known as the 'Butcher' cover it was printed on several thousand albums and then replaced with the 'Trunk' cover that ended up being that albums release cover in the US.
Due to the staff being paid per album, instead of peeling off the old cover (US albums at the time had a sheet stuck on the front, unlike UK covers that were printed ONTO the album case) they just stuck the trunk cover over the top of the butcher cover.
Buyers realised quite quickly that there was something hidden underneath the trunk cover and hence you now can get 'peeled' or 'unpeeled' versions (Original uncovered copies are worth the millionz, probably) or of course, shitty damaged ones as people tried to reveale the 'hidden' image.
True story.
