Over Christmas I went to China to visit my parents, who are currently working in Shanghai.
It was my first time there and we went on a ten day trip North to Beijing, Harbin and Yabuli.
Attached are some photos of some of the highlights. I've narrowed it down to the three things you can, and must, do if you go to Harbin. Enjoy!

You could choose between either a goat or a lamb for, i think $35 US. The hilarious thing was, with the chicken, you got to throw it through a little hatch.
However, if you 'bought' a larger animal, they just drove it to the middle of the pen on the back of a flatbed truck and, no shit, elevated the tray like a dumptruck until the animal slid, skittering, off the back.
It was most enjoyable.
