I don't like it when people refer to their van or SUV as their 'truck'. You drive a Ford Windstar, soccer dad. Get over it.

sometimes people get into my SUV and say "nice truck".
i promptly remind them that it is an SUV and not a truck. my Jeep Wrangler is also sometimes referred to as a truck. again, it is not a truck. the body type is actually classified as a wagon.
i've never heard anyone call a van a truck, but if i did, they'd be sorry.

Gramps is from an era when the only SUVs commonly available were Jeeps and Land Rovers and the only people who drove them were people who actually used them for what they were designed for.
