My buddy phones me up today and asks if I'm able to head down to Seattle for a pre-season 'hawks game on Saturday. He's a big NFL nerd and has got himself some bright shiny new season tickets.
I run it by the wife and because she's constructed of pure awesome she green-lights the trip.
So I phone him back and tell him I'm in.
"OH," I ask "by the way, who are they playing?"
"The Bears", he replies.
WOOOOOO GO BEARS!!!! Is what immediately screams through my mind. WOOOOO!!!! IMA KEEEEL UUUUUUU!RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
So as it turns out, the puncher of Christ has tainted my soul.

Seriously, those are two of the most uninteresting teams in the entire League, and you'll only get to see their best players for about a quarter and a half.
Being in the stadium really does give one appreciation for how hard those motherfuckers can hit though.
Only game I've been to was a Chargers v. Raiders game, when the Chargers still had Junior Seau (one of the best linebackers of all time, who knows if I spelled his name right, spelt isn't a word)
I was in the upper of the upper decks, and every time he hit someone it was comparable to thinking about one's balls getting smashed. You know the feeling, tightening of the muscles and body as if one were about to take a shot to the scrotum.

Anthony's has really good food, it's next to one of the piers on the waterfront, upstairs is expensive food that's just ok, downstairs, where you enter, has cheap, superior food.
