I can see how if you're not a Phils fan and were watching on TV, it would seem that way. For us, and especially for those of us who suffered through Monday's weather, we were so amped up to go back, and I don't think there was much doubt among the fans that the Phils would take it..but I do think we all felt they were robbed of the momentum after game 4 and having to play in that fucking monsoon. With only 3 innings to go, we were a bit anxious and anything could have happened.
And I'm going to pretend he reads ubersite and say FUCK YOU, Joe Buck. I didnt get to hear until I saw the video this morning, and just because you're not a Phils fan and didn't want them to win doesn't mean you shouldn't announce the win with some goddamned excitement. It's the World Series and it's your JOB, you douchebag. We all fucking hate you.

They're playing like amateurs and down 3-1, but considering that they've come back from a situation like this thrice in my lifetime I'm going to say "we've got them where we want them." Now, if only that were true...it depends on if Ortiz feels like hitting the ball out and not up, if Varitek can hit more than air with his swings and if Beckett feels like not throwing the ball like my dead aunt who, even now, would give up less homers than he has in his last few games.
If/when they pull this off, girl, the hatesex will be epic. Epic.
