I live near the Gulf Coat in FL but I don't have a boat. If you live in FL, many of the people you know have boats and most of them will go fishing at the mere mention of doing so. Especially if you pony up gas money and some beer. That's what I do when I want to go fishing: buy some beer, make a couple calls.
